It is with great sadness that the family announces the tragic passing of Robert on April 7, 2017 in his 24th year. Beloved son of Carol Aucoin and Robert Thomson. Cherished brother of Jennifer Symes (Mike), and loving uncle of Hailey and Marisa. Special friend and mentor of Robert Winn and Kevin O’Neil. Best friend to his dog Bear. Predeceased by his grandparents Pauline and Joseph Aucoin, and Godfathers Robert Lang and Shane Kitchen. Survived by his uncles Joe “Chum” (Kate), Paul (Janice) and Clayton (Kathy), his aunts Cindy (Steve), Kathy, and Karen, and his grandma Elva Thomson. Robert will be missed by many cousins and friends. Robert is a graduate of St. John’s College and a past student of Mohawk College where he studied Law. A special thank you to James and Angie for all of their help and support. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Robert’s life to take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations can be made to the Family Counselling Centre of Brant or St. Leonard’s Community Services.
