LINDSAY, Robert Gregory (Greg) - Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in his 53rd year. Beloved husband of Carla (nee Towns), loving son of Robert and Wendy Lindsay, cherished brother of Jayne Hexamer (Derrick), and caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Greg will be lovingly missed by many other members of his extended family and dear friends. Greg was the proud owner of OK Tire St. George for the past 30 years, respected by employees, customers and business associates. Greg had a passion for Harley Davidsons and travel. He also enjoyed his time spent with family and friends at his cottage in Turkey Point. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses at Juravinski Cancer Centre, CCAC, Stedman Hospice Outreach Team, Dr. Connelly and Dr. McNeil. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Greg’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or Troy United Church.
