Obituary for John Thomas Whiting


Passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on February 22nd, 2017 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Mabel Whiting (2015). Loving father of Bruce (Marie). Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Oliver), Carolyn, Sarah (Jeff) and great- grandfather of Tegan. John served in the RCAF during WWII with the 164Transport Squadron flying personnel and supplies to Newfoundland and Labrador. He also is a former employee of Cockshutts and Massey Ferguson. As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
