It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jay Szoke on Sunday, February 12, 2017 just days before his 43rd birthday. Very proud father of Jaden and Masen. Loving son of Wendy McIntosh (formerly Prowse) and the late Larry Szoke. Brother of Lonnie and uncle to Delton. Nephew of Dennis McIntosh (Sue), Bill McIntosh (Nita), Doug Szoke (Wendy), Bob Szoke (Sandy) and Sue Sumsion (Craig). Jay will also be missed by many extended family members and friends. Jay enjoyed spending time with his girls going on nature walks, biking and spending long hours in the pool. Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Jay’s Life on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 5-8 p.m. Donations in memory of Jay can be made to Epilepsy Ontario or to a charity of your choice.
