Obituary for
Olga Horansky
It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Olga Horansky, surrounded by the love of her family on February 2, 2017. Born in Montreal in 1930, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Nyari, and sister of the late Helen Sabo. Predeceased by her husband of 48 years Gyula "Julius" (1995), they reunite to sing Hungarian ballads and dance the Csardas once more. Olga will be missed by her devoted son and daughter; Nick (Rosanne) of Dundas, and Irene Lubrick (John) of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of five and great-grandmother of seven. Olga and Julius made their home in Montreal, Ancaster and St. George. Olga will be missed by the many dear friends they made along the way. Olga's final home was at the Wentworth Lodge in Dundas. Her family would like to thank the staff for their compassionate care and the residents for their friendship during the 12 years of her stay. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 9 - 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations to the MS Society of Canada would be gratefully appreciated.
