Obituary for Paul David Amey

AMEY, Paul David – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Paul at home on January 17, 2017 at the age of 69. Cherished husband of Michelle (nee Jozwiak). Loving, proud father of Christopher and his fiancé Karen and Stephanie and her husband Oliver. Adoring Grandpa of Keegan and Cole. Dear brother of Patty Amey (the late Doug) and John Amey. Brother-in-law of Eric (Vicky) and Natalie. Uncle Paul to Brendan, Genevieve and Grady. Paul started practicing law in 1973 and later became a proud partner of Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP, where he thrived in his profession and became a prominent lawyer in a city he loved. He was passionate about golf and played on many of the top golf courses around the world. He was one of the longest standing members of the Brantford Golf and Country Club. He was an avid skier and a member of Holimont Ski Club. Paul had a great love for jazz music and travelled near and far for jazz festivals. He will be very deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues and his loyal companion Harley. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. If desired donations in memory of Paul may be made to W.
