Obituary for James Joseph "Jim" Campbell

Passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Sunday, January 15th, 2017, in his 80th year. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Davison) for 55 years. Cherished father of Anne Bautista and Jamie (Brenda) Campbell. Proud Papa of Jade, Brent, Autumn, Dana, Sean and Amanda. Much loved G-Papa of Scarlett. Dear brother of Mary (the late Don) Lovell and Kathleen (Doug) Kirby. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Jim was very active in his community. He bowled for over 55 years at Echo Bowl as part of the Good Fellowship League. He was on the Board of the Village Towers Condo Corporation, part of the Euchre Club at the Beckett Building as well as St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Jim was always upbeat and had a great sense of humour, he will be missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim can be made to St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.
