Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 94. Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Whyman. Cherished mother to Terry (Dawn) and the late Helen. Special grandmother to Remi Warren. Bertha will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Helen Carroll, brothers Bill (Jane) and Joe (Jessie), and her sisters Millie Elliott (Ernest) and Naomie Lamaire (George). The family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME , 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1p.m. Interment Oakhill Cemetery.
