Obituary for Tadeusz Popielec

POPIELEC, Tadeusz – it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tadeusz after a lengthy illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the age of 74. Devoted husband of Krystyna for over 56 years. Loving father of Jan (Zofia) Popielec and Barbara (Boguslaw) Baluk. Proud dziadzio of Joanna (Tom), Jack (Sara), Elizabeth (Daniel) and Thomas Popielec & David (Sara), Jennifer and Stephanie Baluk. Pradziadzio of Adrian, Monica, Kamila and Joshua. Dearly missed by many extended family members in Poland and here in Canada. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m., with prayers recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Avenue on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow. If desired, donations in Tadeusz’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church Elevator Fund. www.dennistoll.ca
