Peacefully passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Yvonne Gareau for 65 years. Loving father to Michael, Robert (Sheila Lewis), Terry and David (Mariea Shawcross). Proud grandpa of Celeste Lefler, Amy Welsh (Scott), and Hunter. Great grandpa to Isabella, Maddison and Calleigha. Survived by siblings Jackie and Lucy. Predeceased by Leo, Gabby, Patsy, Johnny, Aline, Elise and Lorraine. Mike was a life time employee at Hussman’s. A heartfelt thank you to CCAC and staff at the Brantford General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
