After a courageous battle with cancer, Reta passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at home on December 18, 2016 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of 65 years to John. Devoted and loving mom of Richard (Joanne), Gayla, John (Valerie), Gary (Carolyn), Doug (Kim) and Wayne (Niki). Proud grandma of 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Nelson and Jean Webb, her sister Isabelle and brother Doug. Reta will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends. Reta will be remembered for being an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan, and also for her amazing artistic talent. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A private family service to follow. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations can be made to the Brantford Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
