Condolence: So sad to hear of the passing of Ed…a friend from long ago, but a good one. Ed was always a supportive man, a godly man, reaching out to the marginalized ones with lots of love and kind words. He wrote to me, a few times, encouraging me personally. I remember him at Teen Camp, uplifting, bright and enthusiastic about his faith and about all those who crossed his path. Ed never passed me by, always took time to speak with me. He was such a good man. My deep sympathies to Dorothy and family at his passing. I hope to be in your presence again some day, Ed. With my love, Lesley-Anne

Condolence: As a teenager in Brantford, Ontario, I recall hearing the deep teachings on the TRUTHS of God as seen in the offerings, the feasts of Jehovah and God’s House, which Edwin - as a young man himself! - gave to the young people in the Church of God there. We just read Edwin’s final message in last month’s magazine to our churches around the world, encouraging us to reach across the whole spectrum of Christianity with God’s GRACE and LOVE as well. The effects of all his teaching over so many years to saints and students alike, has been appreciated worldwide. Surely, he being dead yet speaketh! May God's peace and comfort, and even joy be with you all, as you know that Edwin is now safely at home with the Lord He loved. Jeanette Stewart, Victoria, B.C. Canada

Condolence: The Lord had taken one of the very best. A man who lived and taught the Scriptures. A man who led by the example of his beloved Lord. Ed loved to teach and to preach and there will be many in Glory because of it.
The man who held you up in prayer and loved everyone he came in contact with. The Lord will no doubt commend him "well done good and faithful servant!"
I will miss him and my heart goes out to the family who I will pray through this time.

Condolence: My heart is heavy....Heaven has yet another Angel to watch over us. Mr. Neely was a huge part of what made my high school experience at North Park Collegiate amazing. He believed in his students and he encouraged them to strive for their very best. He gave me confidence to reach for the stars and provided the guidance to help me get there. Ed became a friend and mentor for me after I completed high school, and even though we did not see each other for many years at a time, his words of love and encouragement echoed in my head whenever I had doubts or whenever I needed to look into my inner soul for guidance. When I became a teacher, Ed's wonderful way with students was always first and forefront in my mind and I strive everyday to not only follow his shining example but also fill the huge footsteps he provided for me. I think it is very accurate to say that he was loved and respected by all who knew him. My sincerest condolences go out to his family. Rest In Peace Mr. Neely. You may have departed this earth, but you will remain in the hearts of all those people you touched with your kindness and beautiful spiritual love. We will truly miss you.
Sincerely, Ann Pipe (Ticknor)
