Passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour on December 11, 2016 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late George Hanson and the late Cecil Blades. Loving mom of Janet Lang (Les), Katheryne Rolson (Earl), Raymond Hanson, Mary Hanson, and special aunt to Terry Johnstone (Jim). Proud Nanny of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Jean Hill (Howard) and Hugette Archambault (Jacques). Gail will also be greatly missed by her friends April Barr and Adele Valcourt. A heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care doctors and staff at the BGH for all of their compassionate care. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. If desired, donations can be made to Freedom Christian Community Church or the Brant Community Healthcare Foundation.
