Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital November 26/2016. Beloved sister of Larry (Viney); Gay (Austin) Bursey; Amanda (Lynn) Youngblut; Madeline (Don, predeceased) Ellsworth; Curtis (Fanny); Dalton (Mila); Claude (Hazel); Maxine (Alvin) Heath; Lori. Predeceased by parents Claude (1967) and Ethel (1987) West and nephew Todd(1984).

Rowena spent her childhood in Clarke’s Beach Newfoundland
She worked for a period of time with Bell Canada as an operator, in Bay Roberts before moving to Toronto. In 1972 she attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College for two years. After College she worked at the National Office of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. In 1983 Rowena moved to Jasper Alberta where she spent the next ten years. When she returned to Ontario she settled in Sundridge. There she worked with Christian Horizons until failing health caused her to resign in1999. She remained in South River for a time then moved to Haileybury. After about five years in Haileybury Rowena moved to Cambridge. This past August Rowena moved to the Fox Run nursing home in Brantford. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay at the home where she met a group of sports ladies. They would gather in the lounge to watch the Blue Jay games and have a great time together. Rowena went to her eternal reward Saturday morning, November 26/16
