It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sebastiano Rossi. Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, the Lord called Sebastiano to begin his journey into Heaven on Sunday, October 23rd 2016 at the Brantford General Hospital in his 91st year. Cherished husband of 71 years to Olivia and proud father to Maria Berardi (Remo) and Vince Rossi (Marita). Beloved brother of Angelina Polidori (late Sante) and the late Teresa Ferraccioli of Brantford, the late Maria (Rinna) and the late Annunziata (DeGiuli) of Italy. Loving grandfather of Paul (Joanne), Patrick, Michelle (Ryan) and Victoria (Wesley) and Antoinette and dear great Nonno of Adriano, Marcus, Sophia, David and Anna. His family would like to thank the staff at Brierwood Gardens, the nurses and doctors at the Brantford General Hospital and VON nurses; Brenda and Jenna for all your love and support. Family and loved ones will be received to celebrate Sebastiano’s life at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford, on Thursday October 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to Brantford General Hospital will be greatly appreciated. The family appreciates all the love and support given at this time.
