Obituary for Jean Rogelstad



ROGELSTAD, Jean (nee: McRae) – passed away peacefully on August 8, 2016, at the age of 91. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Ray, sister and brother-in-law Marg and Ed Corke, brothers Alexander and Doug, sister-in-law Barb McRae and niece Cheryl Jean Corke (who shared her birthday). Jean is survived by her 3 children, Dave (Barb), Marilyn Erickson and Elaine (Rob) Gardiner. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and their partners, 5 great-grandchildren (and 1 due in September), her cousin Irene of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. Jean was born in Brantford and was a faithful member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 68 years. Friends will be received at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. A private family service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean to the Operation Eyesight, would be appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
