Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on June 14, 2016 at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Kozak). Cherished father of Pamela, Diane, Donna, Casey, and the late Robert William “Robbie”. Proud Grandpa Bob of Jason, Tracy, Shannon, Justin, Jessica, Robert, Damien, Eric, Logan, and loving great-grandpa of 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Alfred Irving of Nova Scotia, and his brother Cyril (Effie) Irving of Brantford. Long time companion of Jean Vansickle of Brantford. Robert worked at Massey Ferguson in Brantford and Toronto for 32 years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial gathering celebrating Robert’s life will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Dunsdon Branch 461, 9 Tollgate Road, Brantford from 2-4 p.m. If desired, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Brant.
