ROCHELEAU – Martin J. “Rocky”

Passed away at Tranquility Place Retirement Residence, on Wednesday February 19, 2014, in his 91st year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Isabelle (2011) for 64 years. Dear father of Gerald and Ruby, Anne and Neil Moulton, Paulette and Gordon Campbell and Ronald and Diane. Loving Papa of Nathan, Matthew (Tanya) Rocheleau, Rochelle Fenner (Joel) and Ryan Moulton (Lauren), Aaron Campbell, Greg and Amanda Rocheleau. Great grandfather of Tyler, Connor and Chloe, Tegan, Shawn Rocheleau; Spencer Fenner and Hailey Moulton. He is predeceased by his parents Francis and Emma (Coté). Dear brother of the late Rose Wissler, the late Mae Jubenville, the late Eugene and Albert Rocheleau of River Canard. Rocky is also predeceased by his sibings in law, Orville Wissler, Bill Jubenville, Lucia Rocheleau and Cecile Rocheleau. He is survived by his sisters in law Mary Jane Antaya (the late Lucien) and Theresa Hamel (the late Ray) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rocky was very active in several business; community; health professional and church related organizations. He was retired as area manager of York Farms (Maple Leaf Foods). Past President of Kiwanis Club of Grand River, Past President of Chamber of Commerce, Past President of The Brant County Men’s Probus Club and Past President of the Residents Council at Tranquility Place. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street Brantford on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Parish, 9 Waverly Street Brantford on Monday at 10 am. Parish Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 pm. Interment to follow, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Brantford. Donations may be made in Rocky’s memory to the Kiwanis Club of Grand River Endowment Fund, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Brant.
